Trail Ride sponsors will help provide additional resources to our many trail rides we host throughout the year. Trail rides are a wonderful way for both youth and adults to appreciate the beautiful nature Southern Illinois provides while enjoying their hobby – horseback riding. It is a wonderful social and animal bonding experience for all who participate and it really gets the participant “back to nature”.
Trail rides sponosorship is a fun way to increase sponsor name recognition. Sometimes our group is small, but other times our groups are quite large. No matter what the size, it is important to have a couple of “trail bosses” who know the trail, are timing the ride and lead the group. These trail bosses need identifying clothes so other riders can find them. Sponsorship will help to provide the shirts for the trail bosses, a valuable opportunity as since the boss leads the group, the sponsor name and logo on the back of the shirt is what is seen and remembered by all the trail riders.
Sometimes we trail ride for the day, while other rides are overnight. No matter what kind of trail ride, sponsorship also helps to provide dollars to keep the cost of rides low for those who do not own their own horse or trailer.
The ultimate trail ride comes in fall when Triangle H hosts their annual Trail Ride and Fall Festival in October. It is one of the scheduled Madison County Trailblazer rides and brings in riders from all over the area. Last year, we had nearly 200 come to our annual trail ride and fall festival and a great time was had by all. Following all rides is a time for rest and camaraderie, but following our annual trail ride was a downright event in itself. We had a roaring campfire and fun band not to mention fabulous food for all. It would be a great way to culminate the trail ride season with a final trail ride event in which the trail ride sponsors gains the ultimate recognition. Sponsorship dollars would go towards this event and toward the t-shirts in which we hope to give to all who sign up for the annual ride. This is an excellent way for a smaller sponsorship opportunity to culminate into something big.
